4500 men and women leaders and business executives, international experts serving France’s development for over 120 years. They are present in all regions of France and in over 150 countries.
The Foreign Trade Advisors of France (CCE) voluntarily put their experience to work for France’s development. They engage daily in concrete actions in partnership with public and private actors involved in promoting and supporting the internationalization of French companies. Appointed by the Prime Minister, the CCE are entrusted with four missions by public authorities.
The four missions of the CCE are:
Advising public authorities: the CCE inform public decision-making by regularly participating in strategic councils with the government, regions, and embassies abroad, where they share their analyses, opinions, and recommendations on issues related to international trade or specific markets.
Supporting businesses: the CCE support companies in their international development through long-term structured project support or more limited operational consulting or networking. The CCE also contribute to modernizing the foreign trade support system.
Training young people for international careers: the CCE introduce young people to international careers by sharing their experiences in higher education institutions or through specific knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Promoting France’s attractiveness: the CCE showcase France’s strengths and facilitate investment decisions in France through their contacts with business leaders and economic authorities in their host countries.
