Business France is an organization born from the merger of Ubifrance and the French Agency for International Investments (AFII). Created by Ordinance No. 2014-1555 on December 22, 2014, Business France has been operational since January 1, 2015.

Its main mission is to help SMEs and medium-sized companies expand internationally and attract more foreign investors to France to create or acquire job-creating activities. The agency also manages the International Volunteer in Business (VIE) program.
Business France’s activities focus on two main areas: export and foreign investment.
Team France Export, organized around Business France, Regions, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Bpifrance, offers companies wishing to expand internationally a full range of solutions, from preparation to expansion abroad. This initiative is based on a logic of efficiency and continuity in public service, from the French regions, where "single export offices" direct companies to solutions adapted to their needs, to foreign markets where a "Team France Export single correspondent" provides the necessary support services.
Team France Export operates through 13 regional single export offices, where 250 specialized export advisors provide close guidance to companies. Internationally, Team France Export relies on a network of 750 advisors spread across 65 countries, offering coordinated global support for the international development of French companies.
