Tran Minh Quan Nguyen is a highly respected legal and business professional with extensive experience in the digital assets and blockchain sectors. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Quan is recognized for his deep understanding of complex regulatory frameworks and his ability to foster international partnerships.

Since August 2023, Quan has held the position of Deputy Director of the Legal Department at the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA), where he plays a key role in advancing blockchain technology and digital assets in the region. He frequently appears as a keynote speaker on Virtual Assets (VA) and Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASP) at prestigious international and governmental seminars. His expert advice on digital asset regulation has been invaluable to Vietnamese legislators, helping to bridge the gap between local policies and international standards. His efforts have also fostered strong connections between the VBA and institutions within the European Union.

In addition to his role at VBA, Quan is the General Director of Krysos Trust, a consulting firm specializing in digital asset investments. At Krysos Trust, he provides strategic advice to clients operating in the digital asset market, ensuring innovative and effective solutions.

Quan also serves as a director at MLR, where he provides advisory services on international compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) laws. His role involves close collaboration with Vietnamese associations on various legal initiatives, further strengthening his influence in the industry.

Previously, as President of Money Exchange Ltd from 2018 to 2023, Quan successfully negotiated with the Central Bank of Vietnam to obtain the necessary permits for foreign exchange operations and collaborated with regional banks to streamline these processes. His tenure as CEO of PNI JSC from 2015 to 2019 highlighted his visionary approach, investing in disruptive start-ups, including innovative "Uber-style" services.

Early in his career, Quan served as a Legal Consultant at VietinBank’s headquarters, where he ensured legal compliance, conducted thorough compliance audits, and played a key role in significant M&A transactions, including the landmark Mitsubishi-VietinBank acquisition.
