Vietnam Blockchain Association
The Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) is a non-profit organization, established by Decision No. 343/QĐ-BNV on April 27, 2022, by the Ministry of the Interior. The Vietnam Blockchain Association is the first and only professional organization with official legal status, bringing together enthusiasts of Blockchain research and application across Vietnam.
The main missions of the association are:
- Policy Consultation: Consultation for the creation of a legal framework for the management of Virtual Assets (VA) and Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASP) in Vietnam.
- Education: Dissemination of knowledge about Blockchain technology and its applications within the community.
- Standardization: Development of standards for Blockchain-based products and services.
- Member Development: Concentrating resources and strengths for Blockchain-related missions.
- Promotion of Blockchain applications in Vietnam: Through collaboration with other sectors and associations.
- International Cooperation: Promoting connections and supporting members in expanding their international networks.
Deputy Minister of the Interior, Vũ Chiến Thắng, attended and presented the Decision to create the Vietnam Blockchain Technology Association to Mr. Hoàng Văn Huây, president of the Vietnam Blockchain Association.
The headquarters of the Vietnam Blockchain Association is located on the 9th floor, Diamond Plaza Building, 34 Lê Duẩn, Bến Nghé Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
